A lot of the time I could see they were very confused. People got fed up with that criticism and supported me for my style. Not that the substance wasn’t there. I don’t want people thinking taste isn’t important to me, because it is. It was really annoying when my lavender and lemon opera cake didn’t hit the operatic heights.
